Had an excellent Easter holiday visiting family in Atlanta. Was able to bum a ride on a Ducati Monster 696 and go bomb around some excellent twisty back roads there. 300awhp makes for a fun daily driver, but 78 one wheel HP (well prolly less because that’s a crank rating and also Italian) is a whole other experience.

I now desperately need a Monster in my life and near by twisty roads to play with it on would be nice as well. But alas I must slum it in Chicago and make due with the occasional track day in my blue pig.

I was bitten by that bug many years ago. The larger displacement two wheel bug is new though.

I’m trying desperately to acquire a monster 821. Did the math today and found I can get into it for basically no extra money per month if I change my insurance carrier
